Daily Coffee Consumption Reduces Liver Cancer Risk in Heavy Drinkers

A recent study proposes that daily intake of coffee can dramatically cut the risk of liver cancer in drinkers.

Nowadays, a large number of people drink in order to fight with depression, stress and social pressure. Sadly, the habit can severely affects their health and increases chances of some deadly diseases such as liver cancer.

Recently, researchers of American Institute for Cancer Research Continuous Update project worked together with World Cancer Research Fund International.  The chief goal was to determine the cause and prevention of hepatic cancer.

Dr. Anne McTiernan, an epidemiologist at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle, along with her colleagues analyzed nearly 34 different studies.  Around 24,500 liver cases of 8.2 million adult were included in the research.

Research group tried hard to observe how heavy drinkers can lessen the hazards of hepatic cancer. Astonishingly, they figured out that Coffee can play an integral part for health of alcohol addicts.

Generally, Coffee is famous to offer high level of caffeine that boost up energy level of the body. However, it also contains significant amount of antioxidants. The two compounds can effortlessly battle against numerous lethal diseases like heart strokes, memory problems, liver diseases and mood swings.

McTiernan says, the latest research evidently shows that coffee considerably reduce the risk of liver cancer in heavy drinker.

Therefore, researchers recommend that men should take two drinks daily. In comparison, women try to avoid more than one drink.
