Report: Massive Number of European Android Users Switched to iPhone

It appears as if Apple has succeeded in gaining attention of Android users in Europe.

According to the latest data from Kantar World panel, 33 percent of Android users have shifted to iPhones in the first quarter of 2015.

Time Cook, CEO of Apple has talked about the Android users in the recent conference.  He states that the number of switchers is increasing day by day. Presently, the rate of switchers is at record high due to latest iPhone models.

For the convenience of users, Apple has specially released guideline for transferring data to iOS.  In addition, The firm has expanded its trade-in-program all around the globe. Most of the popular smartphones are included in the scheme as well.

Resident of Europe and US can easily get credit in return of their Android smartphones. However, it is not confirmed whether Kantar’s data has included statistics of trade-in program or not.

Nevertheless, the data indicates that Apple’s is quite near to its destination.

Furthermore, the large screens of iPhones have also contributed to a large extent. Till last year, phablets dominated 90 percent of the smartphone market of China. However, the bigger screens of iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus increased iOS sales to 26.1 percent.
