After severe criticism, FDA has finally approved a female Viagra drug. The drug is expected to touch the shelves soon.

The recently approved drug is manufactured by Sprout pharmaceutical. It promises to improve libidos and heighten satisfaction in healthy young women. It is works with the help of neurotransmitters of the brain.   People usually think that the drug should be taken before sex. However, FDA recommends that drug should be taken daily.

Earlier, health experts of FDA rejected the drug twice. They believed that sexual dysfunction is not a women’s disorder. Every year, approximately seven percent women suffer from it.

In comparison, most of the men suffer from sexual dysfunction like erectile dysfunction and ejaculation disorder. The problems gradually increase with the age. As per the recent figures of Centers for Disease control and Prevention, one in every ten American man suffers from sexual dysfunction.

Continuous pressure of numerous women organization compels the authority to approve the drug.  The organizations argued that there is a Viagra for men, why should not for women.

Unfortunately, women’s group deliberately ignored the long list of its side effects. Small number of women is aware that the pill causes sleepiness, anxiety, dizziness and nausea. Around 15 percent of the participants of the clinical dropped out due to these adverse affects.
